PeaceQuest was initiated as a Foundation. The Foundation is now the owner of the registered trademark PeaceQuest. All groups and associations of the PeaceQuest movement are required to maintain an agreement with the Foundation.
Greg Simons, Chairman
Associate Professor Greg Simons is a researcher at IRES at Uppsala University and a lecturer at the Department of Communication Sciences at Turiba University in Riga, Latvia. His research interests include: Russian mass media, public diplomacy and soft power, crisis management communications, media and armed conflict. Dr Simons is the author/editor of numerous refereed articles, chapters and books.
Anton Modaresi has studied to an M.Sc in applied mathematics at Royal Institute of Technology. He is currently working as an IT-consultant. He is a long term member of IOGT-NTO, The Red Cross, Service Civil International and PeaceQuest, serving as treasurer, secretary, volunteer co-ordinator, web master, vice president and board member. His main interest is development of democracy and culture to build peace and freedom.
Valentin Sevéus is the founder of PeaceQuest International. During the 1980´s he built up PeaceQuest to become one of the most important peace organizations in Sweden.
Tomas Nordberg, Treasurer
Tomas Nordberg has been working on for PeaceQuest International since 2010. He has a Master of Arts in International Relations from Yale University.
Vladan Lausevic is a writer for Grön Opinion and a Marketing Officer för Opulens. He has a Master degree in European Studies from the University of Latvia.
Pádraig Belton has been a foreign correspondent in Pakistan and the Middle East. He has contributed to the New Statesman, Prospect, TLS, Guardian, and the Atlantic.
